Adult protection and abuse awareness (full day course)

Annual mandatory training update - which will include basic life support, health and safety awareness (including COSHH and RIDDOR) fire safety awareness principles of moving and handling and infection control and other mandatory subjects relative to the needs of the client group.

Dementia Awareness (half day course – approx 3 hours)

Introduction to care (induction and basic skills training)

Prevention and control of infection (half day course – approx 3 hours)

Prevention and management of falls (half day course – approx 3 hours)

Visual impairment awareness (half day course – approx 3 hours)

 

 

Basic food hygiene awareness (half day course – approx 3 hours)

Basic health and safety awareness (half day course – approx 3 hours)

Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health awareness (half day course – approx 3 hours)

Fire safety awareness (half day course – approx 3 hours)

CIEH level 2 health and safety in the workplace (full day course certificated by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health)

CIEH level 2 health and safety in health and social care (full day course certificated by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health)
